So Max thinks that he is Thomas (the number one train engine). He tells us to "call me Thomas. I am Thomas. Thomas is here." He runs around the house "puffing his engines" and "busting his boilers". When he changes his clothes he is "getting a shiny new coat of paint". When he puts his shoes on he is, "putting his wheels on". He calls Kevin, "Sir Topem Hat" and Granddad is Gordon. My favorite is when he must go "chooch" (that is short for the choo in chug-a-chuga-CHOO-CHOO). So I today we took him to the Kelowna Valley Railway Station (KVR) and he rode on the Christmas Steam Engine. He was delighted. "Thomas is riding on Thomas". It was as if he was finding out that Santa IS real and the Tooth-fairy truly exists.
