We'll for once.. I have no thoughts about packing. We have moved about a ba-zillion times in the past 11 years and always I have been on top of it, eager (.... I am talking months in advance, folks!) to toss junk and see the boxes sparkling and gleaming piled on top of each other ready to sail. But this time, despite my ABSOLUTE excitement to move (We signed the final papers tonight!!! ) - there is no spring in my step to pack - in fact my carcass is plunked merrily on the coach as I write this. A basket of laundry sits in the middle of the hall (also unlike me - as disorder generally disturbs me) and 200 puzzle pieces are scattered all over the kitchen table. The idea of going on HOUZZ to think of house plans
We spent the day at the new house today. We had a picnic on the lawn, the kids ran through the orchard, jumped on the trampoline, we walked around the big house and dreamed about where things will be, Claire wished for walls and claimed both Jack and Jill rooms as her own, and the boys peed freely in the grass!!!! The property is very peaceful and we both feel the Peace of God as we go forth in our decision. We have waited a long time for a place to call home and this place is so much more than we ever asked or dreamed of. What a great God we serve!
Congratulations!!!! Can't wait to see pics and read all about the new house!!!! So happy for you guys!
